Worker of the Year Award

Jerry Lindskog Award: In Search of Excellence

The Jerry Lindskog Award is awarded annually to outstanding performance by a Minnesota resident in the human service field. It was originated as a tribute to Jerry Lindskog and his commitment to family based services. Jerry has been involved with family service since its conception and as served as the human service liaison between the state department of human services and the Minnesota Family Based Service Association. When family based workers speak of "strength based" work with families they speak the voice of Jerry. Jerry is noble man and the Jerry Lindskog Award is a noble award.

MFBSA Presidential Award

Each year the President of MFBSA selects a person who has achieved stellar outcomes for children and families.

The Presidential Award winner exemplifies Strength-Based, Family-Centered philosophy, is sought out by his/her peers, and is a leader within the community.

The award recipient's innovative efforts have, to borrow a phrase 'Moved A Mountain,' making progress towards systems change to improve quality of permanency services for Minnesota's children.
